the day after... that time I was quite hungover which is very unusal

after I recovered we started our roadtrip to byron bay for some camping in my annamobil II...and look what happened...on the highway and then a guy stopped on the other side of the road and just ran ACROSS the highway to help us girls. that was crazy but heaps of people stopped and the tyre was changed withing half an hour. how good is it to be a girl ;)

A Sunday on the beach

Nice brekky and then Ryan and me decided spontaneously to drive to the Gold Coast to the beach. I only had to work at night again, my normal Sunday shift, so that was the perfect thing to do before heading back to reality with work and uni the next day. Love my beach =)

Brisbane

Last time I went to the Southbank markets with Anja I found this awesome banana..yeah it is actually filled with chocolate. That was sooo incredibly yummy... :-P

Phillipp, my cousin, travelled around in Oz for a month and visited me in Brisbane. We went out for dinner at Southbank next to the river and then had ice-cream up on Mount Coo-tha

Als ich in Cairns war, habe ich auch zwei Nächte bei Karen und ihrem Freund geschlafen, die wohnen direkt am Strand *seufz* Wir sind dann auch gleich mit deren kleinem fishing boat ans Reef gefahren und haben gefischt, sind bissl geschnorchelt und ich hab das Meer wieder mal genossen, war ja meine erste Stranderfahrung seit Deutschland.

Phil hat tatsächlich nen Fisch mit der Harpune gefangen, den hatten wir dann zum Abendessen, yum yum. Auch habe ich mein Weihnachtsgeschenk von Ryan, neue stoßfeste und wasserdichte Kamera, eingeweiht und nach langem Zögern endlich unter Wasser getaucht. Die Bilder sind schon ganz nett geworden, aber es war sehr aufgewühlt da ich so aufgeregt hin und hergepaddelt bin und das mit der Helligkeit muss ich auch noch rausfinden. Das Problem war, dass ich keinen Anzug hatte und in der wet season sind oft Quallen da, die nicht unbedingt auf die Haut kommen sollten. Phil hatte sich für mich umgeguckt und mitm Schnorchel konnte ich ja auch gut sehen aber trotzdem bin ich nur kurz reingehupft, paar Minuten an einem sicheren Ort umhergeschnorchelt und dann wieder zurück an die Angel.

Yorkeys Knob Beach

so ne claw die sich schließt wenn man näher kommt, hab versucht Blitz zu verwenden aber das war auch nicht so erfolgreich...

ein paar Überreste farbige Korallen... war schon viel ausgebleicht an dem Miniabschnitt wo ich mich aufgehalten habe.

Ich fands aber mal wieder klasse Unterwasser, bin halt doch eine totale Wasserratte.
Das mit den Fotos kriege ich auch noch hin.
